Meet Dr. Holliday

Dr. Holliday graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1992 with a degree in Fine Arts. He worked as an Art Director in advertising for several years, responsible for design and copy for accounts such as Taco Bell, FedEx, Union Planters Bank and Hampton Inns. Then he decided to make a change. Knowing his artistic background would be a tremendous asset in dentistry, he left the world of advertising and has never looked back. Dentistry is an art as much as a science, and Dr. Holliday's artistic talents have fortunately been a strong point of his practice.

While at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Dr. Holliday was the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) class representative, the Vice President of the Honor Council and the Student Government representative for his class. He acted as liason between students and accreditors during the College of Dentistry's accreditation renewal process, and also was a tutor for first-year Gross Anatomy students. He was inducted into the prestigious Richard Dogget Dean & Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society and earned the Dr. R. Malcolm Overbey Scholarship for academics. He was a member of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity and was also inducted into the IMHOTEP Society. Dr. Holliday was on the Dean's List and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with honors. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the Chattanooga Area Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of two study clubs in the Chattanooga area, and was recently elected President of the Lookout Study Club. He regularly attends CE courses in cosmetic and preventive dentistry all over the country and has attended and continues to pursue an education from the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the premiere continuing education program in the country. He is currently working on his accreditation requirements for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a rigorous and difficult 5 year journey.

Dr. Holliday donates his time and dental services to Inner City Ministries, as well as to those in need of dental care through the counseling ministries at his church. He also is participating in the AACD "Give Back A Smile" program which donates dental services to victims of domestic abuse.

He has been married to Leesa (formerly Jenkins, a native Chattanoogan) for ten years, and they have two beautiful children, Walker and Mary Jenkins.
